28SIKS is an independent and innovative architectural design studio, socially committed and actively engaged in shaping the built environment. The studio approaches design as a responsible and critical practice, attentive to context, use and human experience.
Working across scales, 28SIKS develops projects from the macro level—including urban design, architecture and landscape architecture—to the micro level of furniture and construction details. Their methodology deliberately avoids rhetorical exhibitionism, focusing instead on isolating the core thinking behind each project in order to express it with clarity, precision and maximum concreteness.
The studio’s practice combines expertise and experience with a constant sense of curiosity and experimentation. This objective foundation is enriched by unconventional ideas that encourage independence, dialogue and confrontation, while opening space for emotional and sensory responses within the architectural experience.
Within this context, I collaborated with 28SIKS on the development of their visual identity, typographic system and website design. The objective was to translate the studio’s architectural philosophy into a clear, restrained and coherent visual language, capable of supporting a wide range of projects while remaining precise and purposeful.
The resulting system reflects the studio’s values of rigor, synthesis and openness, providing a durable and flexible framework that allows the work to be presented with the same clarity and intention that defines their approach to architecture.
